A luxurious family chalet of 450m2 situated on a vast plot of land overlooking the Chamonix valley, offering extraordinary views and a unique private setting. You will appreciate the comfortable and carefully decorated spaces in both the modern part of this former farmhouse and the authentic yet completely renovated rooms. This property is fully equipped for all the members of the family with its spa (sauna/jacuzzi), its cinema, its spacious terrace, and its lounges with fireplaces.
Facing south-east and built by Piedmontese mountain dwellers between 1775 and 1777, the Peter Pan Chalet was originally an alpine farmhouse, and remained so for the next 200 years before becoming an inn in the 1940s.
On the ground floor you will find the original farmhouse parts with a cosy lounge, dining room and bar full of authentic character and then a more modern part with a cinema, a fully equipped kitchen with a well-equipped scullery, a professional piano and a wine cellar, which extends into a modern dining room and lounge around a fireplace and a large bay window overlooking the Mont Blanc massif.
On the first floor there are four bedrooms, each with a modern bathroom, including three comfortable couple’s rooms and a family room with a couple’s bed and two single beds.
On the second floor there is a loft with a “mountain refuge” feel containing beds in a row, two bathrooms and a play and sharing area.
Outside, there is a 4km2 garden around the house, a large wooden terrace overlooking the valley, a spa that includes a jacuzzi with a view and a sauna, as well as a ski room for all your mountain equipment and a large private parking area.
A small road will take you from the chalet to the centre of Les Houches in a few minutes where you will find all the shops you will need for your stay (supermarket, petrol station, tourist office, pharmacy, ski rental, etc.) as well as a quick access to the ski domain of Les Houches and to the highway with which you can reach the Chamonix city center in around ten minutes
Over the chalet, you will find beautiful woods for pleasant and accessible walks to the Charousse mountain pastures.
The chalet has 3 exterior private parking spaces on the grounds and a garage for 2 vehicles.
